Community Impact International

About The Team

The creation of Community Impact International (CII) was inspired from witnessing the despair and decreased opportunities of those affected by more than 40 years of conflict in Afghanistan. Those working with CII know first-hand of the deteriorating condition of Afghanistan and the increasing vulnerability of families trying to survive there. Our goals include helping Afghan women learn skills in new countries where they now live, skills which will help them to provide income for their families.

Income Generation

We assist Afghans in creating handmade products and sell them online internationally to generate an income for them.

Education

We provide training programs for Afghans who recently resettled in the USA and management training inside Afghanistan, related to Income Generation and other projects.

Humanitarian Aid

Humanitarian assistance for inside Afghanistan. CII projects will provide both food and non-food items to vulnerable Afghans.

Supporting People With All We Have

The Community Impact International team endeavors to help as many people as we can in Afghanistan and the United States. People need us and we are always here to help.

Our Mission

  • Enable Afghans to have a means of supporting themselves through Income Generation Projects.
  • Train individuals and families to empower them to be employable, and to work independently.
  • Teach students remotely, who have been unable to finish their education, so that upon completion of their studies they will earn a high school diploma.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to assist those in need.
  • Provide humanitarian aid of food, water, shelter where needed.

Community Impact International

Where We Start and Head

Past

From last two decades the CII president, Hasibullah Kalemzai, started establishing a construction company in which he has employed more than 5000 vulnerable people, 20% of whom were women.

Besides, he was to assist these needy people financially and educationally, he has been busy working with needy and vulnerable people more than two decades in Afghanistan to empower them economically and cautiously.

These people directly included not only men but also women in business of different fields.

Present

With the sudden changes in Afghanistan beginning in mid-2021, it was decided to register Community Impact International (CII) as a Non-Profit organization in the USA. Hasibullah Kalemzai, enthusiastically started in CII a President. 

He will start helping vulnerable women of Afghanistan in education, health, handicraft, relief funds and many more fields.

Future

While CII starts off by focusing on women inside Afghanistan, we will be selling their handicraft items in the USA. Money from the sales will help purchase more handicrafts in the future. Plans are underway to assist Afghan women who are now resettling in the USA. Training via internet or in small classrooms, Afghan woman immigrants will learn how to make soaps, lotions, and other items for selling online also through the CII STORE, as part of new income generation projects.
